At A Class Catering we have catered a wedding in Kiama Downs that was completely vegan, canapes, entrees, mains & desserts. I must admit at first I baulked at the function (with me who is neither vegetarian or vegan) as I had no idea of vegan food or where to start. But I do enjoy a challenge & contacted the bride & said I would cater her wedding but knew absolutely nothing about vegan cooking & arranged a meeting with her where she provided me with a menu & all recipes regarding canapes, entrees & mains (talk about a relief for me ?)& when the day finally arrived we (A Class Catering) pulled it off & the Bride & Groom couldn’t stop complimenting us on how good the food was as were their guest.
We have just booked another Vegan wedding for 2019 in Wollongong. This function will be served cocktail style w/ platters of hot & cold vegan treats & this time I was able to assist the Bride & Groom more w/ choices of food to be served. We even served a Mediterranean Vegetable Terrine as an entree for the Shellharbour Tourism awards last year something I wouldn’t have done in the past.
