“Newhaven” takes its place on an elevated location with sweeping views of Upper Kangaroo Valley and the surrounding farmland. It is considered one of Kangaroo Valley’s prettiest property’s. “Newhaven” has its own creek which is home to an array of native wildlife and our two “Newhaven” Whaler horses.
Our home is architecturally designed featuring spacious open plan living. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and ready for any creative chef. We supply complimentary essential food items – olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper, sugar, an assortment of teas. Our modern appliances include a hot rock grill, four gas burner stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, oven and the luxury of a dishwasher and Expressi capsule coffee machine we provide a daily cup of coffee.
Not only is the house air-conditioned, it also benefits from a large double sided open fire place and a seperate single fireplace.The walls of glass offers a cosy but open space to enjoy the vast Kangaroo Valley view and surrounding escarpment and waterfalls. This contemporary home offers all that families or couples are seeking for a peaceful, relaxed stay in the country.
The extensive timber decks leading off from the main living space creates a perfect backdrop for alfresco dining. Enjoy your meals under our grape vine covered pergola or perhaps in the sun drenched sandstone courtyard. Relax on the decks whilst reading a book from our extensive library or simply lose yourself in the peaceful scenery.
The separate TV/Sitting Room with wide screen TV pre loaded with an assortment of movies, comfy lounges and its own Jet Master gas fire is the ideal secluded, cosy space. This room also houses a double sofa bed and half bathroom for two extra guests.
The four bedrooms are both private and generous in size and are separate from the living area. The master bedroom encompasses an ensuite and its own deck to sit and enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the stunning views of the Valley The three remaining bedrooms are situated close to their own one and a half bathrooms. A portable cot, high chair and baby bath are available on request so that even our smallest guest is fully catered for.
Even though this property is very private, it is only a 7 minute drive from Kangaroo Valley village and local swimming pool or a 30 minute drive from the famous Seven Mile surf beach. Alternatively, we have the advantage of being situated only 15 minutes drive from fresh water rock pools in which you can swim in a quiet, secluded mountain setting.
