Beef Nachos recipe by A Class Catering.
Today I’d like to share an easy recipe for Beef Nachos.Lets face it who doesn’t love diving into a piping hot plate of Beef Nachos while watching a sporting event,your favourite movie or just sharing with friends,Beef Nachos are yummo ?
At A Class Catering Beef Nachos are a very popular dish on our Grazing Station’s Menu especially when served at a 21st birthday,bucks party or any other function that requires this type of food service.
Of course I bulk up this recipe for functions but this recipe serves 4
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large onion finely chopped
500g beef mince
350g kidney beans drained & rinsed
1 teaspoon mexican chilli powder
35g sachet taco seasoning mix
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
1 pkt corn chips
1 cup grated cheddar
1/2 cup of your favourite tomato salsa to serve
1 avocado diced to serve
Sour cream to serve
Fresh chopped coriander to serve
Method
1 preheat oven to 200 degrees celsius,heat oil in a nonstick frying pan over medium heat & cook onion for 2 mins or until soft,add mince & cook for 5 mins or until mince is browned & crumbly.
2 add kidney beans,chilli powder,taco seasoning,tomato paste & water.
Reduce heat to a medium-low & simmer for 5 mins or until mixture becomes thick,stir through chopped coriander.
3 arrange corn chips on a heatproof plate & top w/ mince,sprinkle w/ cheese & bake in oven for 15 mins or until cheese has melted,top w/ salsa,avocado,chopped coriander & sour cream & serve.
