Vegan Samosa Pinwheels Recipe w/ Green Chutney
Today I’d like to share a recipe for Vegan Samosa Pinwheels w/ Green Chutney which will be one of the canapes served next week at a cocktail style wedding at Clifton School of Arts in Clifton situated on the South Coast NSW AUSTRALIA..
But before I get to the recipe I can honestly say that Martin & I are not Vegans nor are we vegetarians ? but as a business A Class Catering we cater to everyone & are very happy to help w/ all your catering needs with no disrespect or prejudice ? A Class Catering..

So to the recipe that makes 20 serves..
Ingredients
Green Chutney
3 tablespoon’s chopped fresh mint
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander(cilantro for my American friends lol)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 cup freshly grated ginger
Method
1 blend all the above in a blender, too easy
Now the next step
Ingredients
2 x large gf tortillas(for roll ups)gf
2 potatoes boiled mashed
2 teaspoons cummin powder
2 teaspoons coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon garum masala
Tamarind Paste store bought
Method
1 add all the above ingredients together including the green chutney & mix well
2 spread mlxture evenly into the tortilla & spread some tamarind paste evenly over the potato mix
3 rollup tortilla gf tightly & slice with a serrated knife(a great bread knife will do fine)..
4 this dish can be served cold(up to you) but it can also be served hot by placing in an oven @ 180 degrees celcius for 15 mins as it crisps up the tortilla & sets up the pototato mix….
